So it has been a week ago today that we got back from the show. We went down to Atlanta, Georgia to America's Mart where we buy all of the gifts for our shop. Four days after being there, we are just exhausted! Walking and walking...and thinking, SO much thinking...how would this look with this? How many of these do we need? Is this a good color? Would this sell? How would we display this? There are so many things you have to think about when you are there and it is fun don't get me wrong we have a ton of fun when we go to the shows! If I were to compare it to anything I would probably compare it to shopping times 1000...fun right? Usually though if you were to go shopping that much you're just a little tired afterwards. :)
So only a few short months until we open up the shop again, I can't wait til we get all of our gifts in to start setting up the shop and displaying everything! We ordered some VERY cool stuff! We found some different things that we haven't done before, so it will be interesting and fun to see how we do this year. Now that we have done the show its time to start antiqueing! We just went yesterday around the area and found a few things but not a ton. The next few months will be fun searching for little treasures that we can sell and furniture we can repaint...so much fun! I have a good feeling about 2010! :)
