It's Friday again?!

The weeks have seriously been

getting away from me. I keep thinking to

myself, I have to go update the blog, it's been

so long, but then for some reason I don't.

I get distracted or busy or really just don't have time.

So, here I am again, and it's Friday once more. 

There are boxes behind me screaming to be opened,

merchandise that has to be priced and displayed,

but I here I am with all of you instead, and LOVE it! :) 

I couldn't miss out on Friday Pretties

the one day out of the week where SO

many pretty things are shared. Me? Miss out

on all the fun? I don't think so...

It's Friday!

This week has been soo busy, but yet so much

fun, it's always a joy to be back in the shop, 

playing with, displaying all the merchandise, and
 seeing all of our wonderful customers again. :)  

Yesterday, all of our topiaries came to the shop.

Seeing GREEN this time of year is always such

a breath of fresh air. After seeing dead grass,

and dirty snow for a few months, yes I would have

to say it's one of my favorite things about spring.

Can you believe Friday is here again?
The days have been flying by so fast lately.
I guess that's a good thing right?
That means Spring will be here before we know it.
In the mean time we will just keep on dreaming...

I found this dress while looking online,

doesn't it just make you smile?

 I wish we could have it to put in our shop.
It's so spunky and girly, I love it! :)

{Sigh} Oh how I wish all this snow would melt, so

that we can smell these lovely flowers.

We are off to Colorado next week,

~ Dreaming~

Dreaming of our garden and of Spring

today...{sigh}...I think this happens

every year about this time.

We get through the holidays and

through January...February rolls around

and I start itching to see something green.



This is a photo of our garden last summer,

I can't wait to start digging in the dirt again,

and planting all those beautiful zinnias.



And to watch the tulips and daffodils pop their

little heads out of the ground. Can you tell I'm

sick of all this snow? :)



Only a few more weeks and we will be there,

until then I have the greenhouses to get me through.

For some reason, once the shop closes,
it's hard for me to come up

with inspiration, I think the shop is where I am inspired,
so in order for me to inspire you,

I have to be inspired...huh? who would have thought?

So, here we are again,
Friday rolls around and I'm back pondering

what to bring for Friday Pretties
I ponder and ponder...I look around the

house for pretties, and what do you know?
 I actually found something...
I am always a sucker for pottery,
especially greens and blues,

and of course the occasional pink piece,
and antique, they have to be antique, 
the McCoys and Shawnees, Haeger..etc
you get the point.
So THAT my friends is what I am bringing,
I hope you enjoy. 

There is just something about that piece of pottery, the

details, shape, color, I Love everything about it.

When I find it, {for a good price of course} It's mine :)
